„Völlige Stille, wie sie in einer Camera Silens herrscht, wird vor allem wegen der fehlenden Reflexion und damit fehlenden akustischen Orientierung im Raum als unangenehm oder beängstigend empfunden. Des Weiteren führt sie zu einer sensorischen Deprivation, wobei es aus Mangel an Außenreizen zu Halluzinationen und zu Denkstörungen kommen kann. Dies wird auch bei Verhören und zur Gehirnwäsche eingesetzt und gehört zu den weißen Foltermethoden, da sie keine sichtbaren Spuren hinterlässt, jedoch in der Lage ist, einen Menschen binnen kürzester Zeit physisch und psychisch zu zerrütten."

Silent-View Photography ist ein Fotokunstprojekt, bestehend aus einem Fotografen (Silent-View) und einem Model (Fräulein von Rosenfelde), welches versucht, Eindrücke, die in einer Camera Silens entstehen können, in Bildern umzusetzen. Die Flucht ins Innere als einzige Möglichkeit mit diesem Isolationserlebnis umzugehen. 

Seit 2005 setzen die beiden vor allem Düsteres und Bizarres, zuweilen Verstörendes in ihren Werken um, erweiterten ihr Repertoire 2007/2008 allerdings auch auf Glamour-, Fashion- und Bandfotografie sowie Videokunst und sind dabei immer auf der Suche nach dem Außergewöhnlichen. 

Durch spezielle Lichtsituationen, individuelles Styling, extravagante Posen und markante Locations erschaffen sie surreal anmutende Abbilder unserer Welt. Diese gleichen Szenerien aus einem Traum, einer Halluzination, einer Wahnvorstellung mit Freude an der Illusion, geben sich jedoch nie ordinär oder anbiedernd.

Ein Konzept, welches im Laufe der Jahre stetig erweitert und verbessert wurde und nun seine eigene Bildsprache spricht. Ziel ist es, unverwechselbare Eindrücke zu wecken und starke Emotionen zu transportieren. Kritisch, provokant, expressiv, abgründig, aber dennoch mit einem subtilen Augenzwinkern versehen und mit einer Prise Zynismus gewürzt.
 
Die beiden Künstler gestalten in der Regel von Inszenierung über Location, Make-up, Kleidung bis hin zur Bearbeitung ihrer Werke alles selbst. Für besondere Projekte oder Aufträge arbeiten sie allerdings auch mit ausgewählten Models, Mode-Labels und Make-up-Artists zusammen.

"Absolute silence, as it is found inside a camera silens, is sensed as an unpleasant or frightening experience as result of the absent of reflexion and therewith the absent of acoustic orientation in space. It leads to sensory deprivation which may induce hallucination or thought disorder caused by the lack of external stimulation. It is used for inquisition and brainwashing and belongs to the white torture as it leaves no visible signs of torture but still is able to shatter human personality within short time."

Silent-View photography is an art photo project consisting of a photographer (Silent-View) and a model (Fraeulein von Rosenfelde), that tries to implement impressions which may develop in a camera silens into pictures. Escape into the inside as the only way to deal with the isolation.

Since 2005 both of them implement with their pictures particularly gloomy and bizarre, sometimes unsettling themes, but extended their repertoire in 2007/2008 to fashion, glamour and band photography as well as to video art and are always in search of the extraordinary.

By special lighting, individual styling, extravagant poses and striking locations they create a surreal simulacrum of our world. It resembles scenes out of a dream, hallucinations, delusions with joy at the illusion, but never is ordinary or chumming up.

A concept that has been extended and improved through all the time and now speaks its own metaphorical language. The aim is to awake unmistakable impressions and to convey strong emotions. Critical, provocative, expressive, abysmal, but still with a subtle wink and spiced with a pinch of cynicism.

Normally, both of the artists create everything themselves, from locations, make-up, clothing to editing their works. For special projects or jobs they collaborate with selected models, fashion-labels and make-up artists.
